Warranty
ZATORI deeply values your serenity and wants you to enjoy your ride with utmost confidence. To bolster this, we offer a comprehensive warranty covering any components that are found defective or damaged, even those compromised during delivery.
Attention
This warranty is non-transferable and exclusively for the initial purchaser. On purchasing from ZATORI directly or from an authorized ZATORI dealer, your warranty gets auto-registered, eliminating any extra steps. Any warranty claims necessitate proof of purchase.
Warranty Period
The warranty period spans 12 months for mechanical parts, 6 months for electrical parts, and 30 days for wear & tear. The period starts from the date your product is received, as indicated on the accompanying receipt.
Exclusions to warranty claims
- Cosmetic damage like scratches and dents not attributable to ZATORI.
- Problems caused by using non-ZATORI approved accessories, equipment or products.
- Damage caused by customer carelessness, incorrect assembly, changes to the scooter, accidents, improper use, wrong tools, natural disasters, failure to follow the user manual/setup guides, water damage, incorrect cleaning solutions, improper maintenance (such as winter storage), extreme/stunt riding, commercial use, unauthorized accessories, or upgrades not sold by Zatori.
- Parts corroded due to exposure to natural elements such as humidity and heat.
- Normal wear and tear that's not due to manufacturing or material defects. Such cases are subject to ZATORI 's assessment.
Warranty Coverage
*The following components are covered by the warranty only if defects are reported within 30 days of receiving the scooter.
NOTE: Even if the original owner resides in another country, replacement parts will only be shipped to the country of the original shipping address.
Warranty Application
- Defects must be reported within 30 days of receiving the scooter for warranty coverage. Otherwise, replacement parts must be purchased from the website and shipping expenses paid.
- File all warranty claims with ZATORI at our Email. Include purchase proof and media (photos/videos) of the faulty product.
- Contact ZATORI before submitting a claim. Quick fixes may resolve your issue.
- Products purchased directly from ZATORI will have claims handled by ZATORI. If purchased from a retailer, please liaise with them.
- Replacement parts will not be sent out until the original, damaged parts are received by ZATORI.
- Evidence of damage in the form of photos or videos must be provided via email before ZATORI agrees to replace parts.
- ZATORI only provides replacement parts. We don't reimburse any labor costs for repairs.
The ZATORI Engineering Team has the sole discretion to determine whether the core component or scooter is defective and whether it is covered by the warranty.
Warranty Limitations
- ZATORI will not replace any parts damaged due to user's own operation.
- Unless pre-agreed with ZATORI, we will not bear the costs of any third-party services or part replacements.
- ZATORI will only consider part replacements after receiving photos or videos of the damaged component.
- The warranty does not cover battery failure or damage resulting from:
- Water exposure
- Improper charging methods, inconsistent with the user manual
- Use of a charger not supplied or approved by Zotari
- Power surges
- Failure to properly store the battery at room temperature at 75% charge during winter months or periods of non-use
Zotari recommends customers follow all usage, charging, and storage instructions provided in the user manual to maximize battery life and avoid damage. Batteries requiring replacement due to the above exclusions will not be covered under the warranty.
- Our warranty service is exclusively available to original purchasers and does not extend to second-hand buyers.
- ZATORI will not take responsibility for any damage that may occur during transportation if customers arrange their own shipping methods or use freight forwarding services.
